Susanne Schwalbach

Susanne is a German-Canadian real estate advisor. She came ashore in 2010 and dropped anchor when she realized that Nova Scotia would be the perfect place to raise her family. She purchased and restored an old farmstead - a labour of love that she would encourage anyone with time and a heart for history to do. Susanne studied fashion design in Paris, France, and worked as an editor and public relations consultant in both Hamburg, Germany and Hanoi, Vietnam. During the 1990s, she was employed as a fashion and lifestyle editor for a popular German magazine, coordinated media events for the market launch of the first programmable LEGO brick, and roamed the American Southwest in search of adventure, inspiration, and undiscovered stories. Susanneâs design skills served her well when she moved to Vietnam and became involved in designing home textiles for a project aimed at providing income and education for women. Susanne brings all her varied experiences and skills to her career as a real estate professional. Her personal approach is creative and detail oriented, whether finding just the right angle to presenting a home for market, or working with buyers from all walks of life. Susanne speaks both English and German fluently, which makes her the go-to person for buyers and sellers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
