Lorene Prescesky

Lori was born and raised in Bear River, affectionately known as "the Switzerland of Nova Scotia". After receiving her BA from Acadia University, Lori spent a few years working in Ottawa. Since returning to Nova Scotia in 1979, Lori has lived from East Ferry to Wolfville, and other communities in between. Lori now resides in the scenic town of Digby and feels she has truly come home. Lori was the co-owner and operator of an outdoor advertising company in the Annapolis Valley for fourteen years. This experience gave her a solid foundation for working independently and providing the best of service to her clients. She served on the executive of the Valley Womenâs Business Network for several years and made many friendships with other women who were involved in different business ventures. With an eye for decorating, Lori has put her unique touch on the houses she has called home over the years. Real estate was a natural career move for her as she always had an interest in houses. Her significant background coupled with her enthusiasm for building, design and all things âhomeâ, she enjoys the challenge of helping people find their perfect home and going the extra mile for her clients is how she works. Loriâs extensive knowledge of the areas between Yarmouth to Wolfville allows her to successfully market her clientâs properties and intuitively find the right fit for her buyers. Lori has volunteered on the Board of The Digby County Learning Association, Digby Area Tourism Association and she campaigned in the 2016 Digby Town Elections. She has volunteered her to time to political campaigns and is very interested in the Canadian political system, and its impact on local communities. Loriâs extra-curricular activities include spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing. She found the need to try a new sport in 2019 and is now an active member of the Digby Curling and Social Club.
