MELISSA MUMMERY

We moved to Port Dover when I was in grade 3. At the time I refused to speak to my parents for about 2 weeks… I’m so glad now that they didn’t listen to an 8 year old who didn’t want to leave her friends! Real estate for me is about relationships. It’s about that look on your face when we find the house for you or when we negotiate a successful offer. People do sometimes forget that buying and selling is not always a happy time but it’s something I’m well aware of. I’ve worked with clients who are going their separate ways, dealing with the loss of a loved one or helping them settle into a nursing home, suffering through the loss/change of a job. You name it, I’ve probably been through it. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll find me spending time with my 4 daughters, volunteering at their school or in our community, the ball diamond, dance and theatre class (for them not me). And rarely, very rarely, with my feet up at home and a good mystery novel alongside a diet Pepsi and a bowl of Bridge Mixture.
