If you are looking for an agent as a first time home buyer, this is the agent you need. I contacted Ruby in May 2024 letting her know I was looking for an agent. She responded quickly. From that moment on, she was also very prompt with her responses, was extenly knowledgeable, let me know when to get things done (for example I was not sure when to look for home insurance and she let me know when), she was able to make recommendations for inspectors, brokers, any type of repair person. Ruby made the process extremely easy. She was very personable, was able to answer any questions, and more then anything she never pressured me. Multiple times throughout the process she told me she wants me to be comfortable and if I wad not comfortable with a home, to pull back. Ruby also made sure we did not waste time looking at places that she knew would go for way over the listed price. Ruby was amazing. When we decided that we were going to sell our house we were under a lot of stress, due to sudden market changes and the thought of dealing with high-pressure real estate agents. We had planned on interviewing at least 10 agents before deciding on one. We called Ruby first as she knew our area well. The interview turned into a real and honest conversation. She didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear to secure the listing, instead, she had laid out a plan for us and told us to call her when we were ready. There was never any pressure on us to list the house with her. This saved us from calling 10 other agents and wasting everyone’s time. We called her shortly after and got the ball rolling. Ruby provided a cleaning service, storage locker, and top-of-the-line staging for us. We sold our house within 4 days of listing and got much more than what we expected for it. We know everyone says “sold over asking” but in our case we literally, sold over our expectations. During the entire process, Ruby kept our whole family involved including our 2 teenage sons and regularly checked in on all of us to make sure we were happy with the progress. I would say that she looks tuff and the first time I met her that was my opinion about her but eventually I learned that she is a very kind hearted lady. As a first time home buyer’s in 2017, I was limited with money but had a great desire to own a house as I was 7 months pregnant then.
