I didn't know about this site until now, but I've known Dale for nearly 20 years. He was our realtor when we bought a townhouse in Victoria in 2006, he was our realtor when we had to sell it in 2016, and when I knew I was coming back to Victoria in June of 2020, my wife and I didn't even think of asking another realtor; we knew we wanted Dale to act for us.
He is, at all times, friendly, professional, available - I had to contact him on a weekend once, much though I didn't want to - he was there for us. He liaised smoothly with our bank and our lawyer, ensuring that everything went without any hitches. As our most recent purchase was during the pandemic, he went out of his way to enable a remote buying decision, including giving us a virtual real-time tour of the home we were considering.
I know Dale will retire one of these days, and it will be a well-deserved retirement... but Victoria will have lost the skill and knowledge of a realtor truly a cut above the rest.

As out of town, first time investment buyers, Dale Sheppard was recommended to us by our hometown realtor. We have been extremely impressed by Dale’s knowledge of the Victoria market and his focus on providing incredible client service. Our priority was to secure housing for our son, who attends UVic, that would also service as good investment property. Not living in Victoria likely made us needier than his average client but Dale always made time for us both remotely and in person when we were able to get to Victoria. He walked us though the Victoria market, locations, and property considerations, while we walked him through our wish list and spreadsheets. After a couple of months of clarifying our criteria, when a property came up that matched what we were looking for we were confident enough to make an offer almost immediately (from our home town without viewing the property) because of the trust we had in him and the knowledge we had gained though our conversations with him.
