Hi there... my name is Sherry Laporte, and I live and sell real estate here in Ottawa, which is a fabulous place to live. Having worked in real estate for over 20 years before coming to Solid Rock Realty, I never realized how great it could feel to discover the power of a real family environment. Years ago, when I started – I naturally migrated to helping other agents with technology, business ideas, and time management. In fact, within the first 3 years in real estate, I was teaching Fusion (previous to Matrix) at the real estate board. I served on the Board of Directors & the MLS Committee at the Ottawa Real Estate Board. For most of my personal sales life, I’ve lived and worked throughout the City, helping families buy and sell beautiful homes, luxury properties, and waterfront properties along the Ottawa River and Rideau River. Ottawa is known as the Silicone Valley of the North - we have a very vibrant Bio-Medical & Autonomous sector, in addition to semiconductor and other hi-tech R & D
