Avril Reifferscheid

Growing up in a farming family it was a given that I would be an entrepreneur. I attended U of S before completing a diploma in Business Admin from Lakeland College. Through the years I’ve continued to upgrade my education through community college and online courses in management governance and computer skills. I got my real estate license in 2003 at the suggestion of a friend and mentor who was retiring and looking for someone to take over her book of business in the area. I worked real estate very part time at first pursuing basic goals. I became a broker in 2008 but it wasn’t until 2012 when I purchased my Realty Executives franchise and finally decided to let go of my “security blanket” part time job that my business really took off. Over the years I have been involved in the community through various roles in different organizations. As a parent I took part in school minor sports and speed swimming events. I was a Kinette for many years holding all the executive positions and served on the Credit Union board Nursery School Board and School Community Council (elementary and high school). I currently sit on the Watrous Library Board in addition to being on the SRA Board of directors now in my role as Past Chairperson. In all my “spare time” I love to read bake work on scrapbooks and other crafts and spend time at the lake. I take pride in the progress we have made since our amalgamation and as a leader in our industry I look forward to our association’s continued growth. I have been fortunate to meet many of our members and look forward to continuing those personal connections long after my term on the board has ended.
