Transportation

Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in this part of Strathcona County. It is especially convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway. However, the public transit in Turbo Resources is quite bad. Even though there are a limited number of slopes, biking is difficult in Turbo Resources as the cycling network is not very well-developed. Walking is also not very practical for home buyers in this neighbourhood since very few common errands can be run without a car.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Turbo Resources. Turbo Resources is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to one of the railway lines.

Housing

Around two thirds of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. The predominant housing types in this neighbourhood are single detached homes and townhouses. About one third of properties in this part of Strathcona County were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
