Timber Ridge

The neighbourhood of Timber Ridge is part of the city of Red Deer, Alberta.

Transportation

Timber Ridge is very car friendly. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of the city as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. This area is not particularly cycling-friendly as there are a limited number of bike lanes, and the terrain is not especially flat. Timber Ridge is also not very convenient for walking as most daily needs are inconvenient to meet without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to primary schools from anywhere in this neighbourhood. However, Timber Ridge does not contain any high schools. With respect to eating, in vast majority cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries. Nevertheless, getting to the nearest pharmacy and consequently some basic food items is usually convenient. Residents of Timber Ridge are served by a few restaurants as well.

Character

Timber Ridge is excellent for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
