South Flats is a neighbourhood within Medicine Hat, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Medicine Hat metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this part of the city. Nearby highways are reasonably easy to access from anywhere in this area, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, South Flats is not an especially convenient part of Medicine Hat for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. A good number of people in the area use their bicycle as most of the area is relatively flat. In contrast, travelling by foot is not very popular in South Flats, although many common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.
