On the other hand, the public transit system in The Uplands is not very practical. It is easy to commute by bike in The Uplands because the bicycling infrastructure is good. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this area since many daily needs are impractical to meet on foot.

Services

This neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, families may find it very hard for their children to reach daycares on foot. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries.

Character

The Uplands offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is easy to reach green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as the streets are very tranquil.
