Located within the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, The Ridge is a neighbourhood in Strathcona County, Alberta.

Transportation

Getting around by car is convenient in the Ridge. It is very easy to park. However, the public transit service in the Ridge is not very frequent. Thankfully, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Most homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are not very convenient for walking because running common errands is at times challenging by walking. However, moving around by bicycle is easy in this neighbourhood since there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Some, but not all, home buyers in the Ridge will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. There are a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants in close proximity. Regarding education, the Ridge does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and therefore they can be a very long walk away.
