Located within the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Varsity is a neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Varsity will attract house buyers that appreciate various modes of transportation. The fairly good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many. For example, the closest rapid transit station, including Dalhousie Station and Brentwood Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, is usually relatively close by from the bulk of homes in the neighbourhood. Residents have access to about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. It is also convenient for pedestrians to navigate Varsity; many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle. This part of Calgary will appeal to active people because it is reasonably suitable for bicycling. In particular, there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling network is reasonably good.
