Situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, University of Calgary is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is fairly simple to travel in University of Calgary. University of Calgary is moderately transit friendly owing to University Station with access to the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also fairly conducive to people who travel on foot; running common errands is easy without the need to get in a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Bicycling is fairly adopted in University of Calgary because the bicycling network is very good.

Services

House buyers in this part of the city typically need a vehicle to do groceries. Nonetheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items.
