The Village is a neighbourhood within Airdrie, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is convenient for pedestrians to navigate this part of Airdrie; many daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. The Village is also conducive to bicycling as the cycling infrastructure is quite well-developed. The public transit system in the Village is not very accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. However, the preferred means of transportation in the Village is very often driving. Nearby highways are very easy to access from any home in the Village, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park.

Services

It is very rarely practical for house buyers in the Village to travel to the closest supermarket on foot. Nonetheless, reaching the nearest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is usually very easy.
