Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Sunalta is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Sunalta permits property owners to get around using several modes of transportation. The fairly good public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many people. Rapid transit stations, including Sunalta Station with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain, are usually nearby from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. This part of Calgary is also very convenient for walking; running common errands is very easy, and a variety of businesses are quite nearby. Riding a bike is quite adopted in Sunalta since the terrain is generally flat, and the bicycling network is fairly good.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short walk away in this neighbourhood. In addition, there is generally a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. In terms of education, daycares and schools are very easy to walk to from most properties for sale in this neighbourhood.

Character

Despite the fact that few entertainment venues can be found nearby, the streets are very often busy with people, and with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink as they are generally located around the corner.
