Transportation

Point McKay provides homeowners with the choice between various methods of transportation. The public transit service in this part of Calgary is fairly good thanks to a few nearby bus lines. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; running daily errands is easy, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Point McKay will draw physically active people because it is very suited for cycling. More precisely, there are a limited number of elevation changes, and there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to reach on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In contrast, families may consider it difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
