Falconridge

The neighbourhood of Falconridge can be found in the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Falconridge will attract property owners that appreciate various modes of transportation. The public transit system in this neighbourhood is fairly good as a result of a few nearby bus lines. Falconridge is also a fairly convenient part of Calgary for pedestrians; most day-to-day needs are easy to carry out on foot. Falconridge is cycling-friendly as cyclists do not encounter significant hills, and there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Reaching the nearest supermarket by walking is practical for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city. Residents of this area are served by approximately 10 restaurants as well. With regards to education, in Falconridge, parents and their schoolchildren will usually be able to reach schools and daycares by walking.

Character

Falconridge is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of Calgary is very quiet overall, as the streets tend to be very peaceful. This area offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. About two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder.
