Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Dover is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Moving around by car is straightforward in this area. It is convenient to access a place to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of the city. In contrast, Dover is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. This part of the city is suited for cycling as there are a good number of bike lanes, and there are few slopes to challenge bicycle riders. However, walking is not very common in Dover, even though many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

The nearest supermarket in this neighbourhood is usually only a reasonably short walk away. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, parents and their children will find that wherever their house is located in Dover, schools and daycares are nearby.
