However, public transit users may experience limited options in this part of the city as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Belvedere is not very conducive to those who like to travel as pedestrians as few daily errands can be run without a car. This part of the city is also not particularly amenable to biking because the cycling network is fairly poor, and there are a good number of hills.

Services

Regarding eating, reaching the closest supermarket on foot is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city. Residents are served by a few restaurants and coffee shops as well.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Belvedere, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings. This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 60% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood whereas the rest are rented. About one third of properties in this part of the city were built in the 1990s, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 2000s.
