Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Altadore is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Altadore is a fairly pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and many businesses are reasonably nearby. Altadore will also attract physically active house buyers since it is quite suitable for bicycling. More precisely, the bicycling network is reasonably good. The public transit system in Altadore is not especially practical. Thankfully, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. However, driving is a fairly good means of transportation in this area. It is convenient to come across a place to park.
