Part of the Grande Prairie metropolitan area, Mountview is a neighbourhood within Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Transportation

The preferred method to move around in Mountview is very often a car. It is especially convenient to park, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, Mountview is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and it is especially convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Walking in Mountview is not very popular, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient. In contrast, this neighbourhood is reasonably amenable to cycling because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Mountview is usually only a short walk away. In terms of education, parents and their schoolchildren will value the proximity to both primary and secondary schools, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, homes for sale in this part of the city. In contrast, families may consider it difficult for their children to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
