Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Westview Village is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

Westview Village is an extremely good part of Edmonton for driving. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways are easy to drive to from any location in this neighbourhood. In contrast, Westview Village is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in Westview Village because very few day-to-day errands can be run without needing a vehicle. Although the area is flat, it is also challenging to get around by bicycle in this neighbourhood as the cycling infrastructure is rather poor.

Services

Daycares are very easy to reach on foot from anywhere in this area. However, there are no primary schools and no high schools in Westview Village. With respect to food, purchasing one's groceries usually requires the use of a vehicle in this area. That being said, it is convenient to reach the closest cafe as a pedestrian.
