The neighbourhood of Overlanders is part of the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best method to navigate this neighbourhood is very often a car. It is easy to park, and many houses for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, Overlanders is not an especially pleasant part of Edmonton for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a good means of transportation in Overlanders because the bicycling network is quite well-developed, and cyclists do not face serious hills. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot because few day-to-day needs can be met by walking.

It is a short walk to get to primary schools and daycares from most properties for sale in this part of Edmonton. However, there are no high schools in Overlanders. In terms of eating, in most, if not all, cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries.

Lastly, public green spaces, like Kennedale Ravine and Overlanders Park, are very well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit, making them very easy to get to from most locations within the neighbourhood.

This part of Edmonton has a good selection of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
