Cars are a great transportation option in this area. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Lansdowne, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, Lansdowne is not an especially pleasant part of Edmonton for travelling by public transit. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. It is difficult for people travelling on foot to navigate this area because running common errands is sometimes challenging. On the other hand, bicycling is popular in Lansdowne as much of the terrain is fairly flat.
