Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Sandstone Valley is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Sandstone Valley is a fairly good part of Calgary for driving. Parking is easy. However, public transit users may find few options in Sandstone Valley as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking as few daily errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, it is convenient to commute by bike in this part of the city since there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to walk to from most properties for sale in this part of the city. In contrast, this area does not have any high schools. Concerning eating, it is very rarely feasible for property owners in this neighbourhood to do their grocery shopping by walking. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available.
