Rocky Ridge is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in this part of the city. It is straightforward to park. However, getting around by public transit is challenging in this part of the city. Thankfully, there is Tuscany Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain. Property owners benefit from around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. This part of Calgary is quite appropriate for cycling as the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably well-developed. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot as meeting daily needs is difficult on foot.

Services

Accessing the closest grocery store on foot is an option for some, but not all, home buyers in Rocky Ridge. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate nearby restaurants. With respect to education, Rocky Ridge does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, parents and their kids may find it difficult to access daycares on foot.

Character

Rocky Ridge is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. This part of Calgary is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, getting to public green spaces is easy in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

Around 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the rest are renters. In this area, most buildings are single detached homes, whereas the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. Most of the housing growth in this part of Calgary has occurred after the year 2000. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes.
