Parkland is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the best way to move around in Parkland. Parking is easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Parkland is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in this part of Calgary because few daily needs can be carried out on foot. In contrast, this area is quite appropriate for cycling because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

Some, but not all, home buyers in this part of Calgary will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants in close proximity. In terms of education, it is a rather short walk to access primary schools and daycares from any location in this part of the city. However, there are no high schools in Parkland.
