Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Glendale is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Glendale offers homeowners the choice between different methods of transportation. Owing to 45th Street Station on the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain, and a few nearby bus lines, the good public transit access allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in areas that are also rather suitable for pedestrians; carrying out daily needs is easy without a car. Glendale will appeal to active people as it is moderately suitable for cycling. In particular, there are a fair number of bike lanes.
