Located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Forest Lawn is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Forest Lawn will please homeowners that appreciate a variety of means of transportation. Thanks to approximately 10 nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is convenient in Forest Lawn. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Moving around by bicycle is convenient in Forest Lawn as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

It is especially easy to reach the nearest supermarket on foot from any home in this area. Furthermore, Forest Lawn is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, for example along 17 Avenue South-east. With regards to education, daycares and schools are very easy to reach on foot from most houses for sale in this area.

Character

The character of Forest Lawn is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Most areas in this neighbourhood are very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
