Altadore is a fairly pleasant part of Calgary for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and many businesses are reasonably nearby. Altadore will also attract physically active house buyers since it is quite suitable for bicycling. More precisely, the bicycling network is reasonably good.
