Silver Creek is a neighbourhood within Airdrie, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred means of transportation in Silver Creek. Parking is quite easy, and many houses for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Silver Creek is rather limited. Thankfully, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not particularly well-suited for those who travel by foot because carrying out daily needs is at times challenging. On the other hand, it is convenient to move around by bike in Silver Creek as the cycling network is fairly good, and it is a flat ride to most destinations.

The closest supermarket in this part of Airdrie is typically only a rather short walk away. A small number of restaurants are available in Silver Creek as well.
