The urban village of Bassin-de-la-Lièvre is part of the city of Gatineau, Quebec, which is situated in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is very convenient in this part of Gatineau. The majority of homes for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Outaouais, and it is very easy to access a place to park. However, the public transit network in this urban village is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in Bassin-de-la-Lièvre since the topography is not particularly flat, and the bicycling network is not very well-developed. Most homes for sale in this part of Gatineau are located in areas that are also not very conducive to walking since very few daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car.
