It is convenient to commute by bicycle in Lasalle Park since it is a flat ride to most locations.

Daycares and schools are very easy to reach on foot from most homes for sale in this area. As far as food is concerned, the nearest supermarket in this part of Montréal is usually only a short walk away. Residents benefit from approximately 20 restaurants and cafes as well.

Character

Lasalle Park is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. The greenery in this part of Montréal is not especially prominent; to be more specific, residents will find that numerous streets have below average tree coverage. Nonetheless, getting to parks, such as Parc Lasalle, is easy from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to visit. This neighbourhood is also very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic near one of the railway lines or Autoroute du Souvenir.

Roughly two thirds of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters and the remainder are occupied by owners.
