This part of Montréal will attract people who value being able to walk everywhere because it is very geared to pedestrians; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. The bicycle is a good method of transportation in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The transit system in this neighbourhood is very good as a result of 2 rapid transit stations (Vendôme Station and Villa-Maria Station) on the Ligne 2 - Orange, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. Moving around by car is also convenient in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Most houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Ville-Marie.
