Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sainte-Dorothée is a neighbourhood within Laval, Quebec.

Transportation

This part of Laval is very car friendly. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway, such as Autoroute Chomedey, from any location in this area, and accessing a place to park is quite easy. In contrast, public transit riders may have few options in this part of the city as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Travelling on foot is not especially feasible for residents in this part of Laval as running common errands is at times challenging by walking.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to walk to from most properties for sale in this area. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of the city. Regarding eating, accessing the nearest supermarket by walking is possible for some, but not all, home buyers in Sainte-Dorothée. Residents can enjoy about 40 restaurants and coffee shops as well.

Character

The character of Sainte-Dorothée is exemplified by its calm ambience. Greenery is reasonably prominent in this part of the city as most streets have fairly good tree coverage.
