Transportation

This part of the city offers home buyers the choice between a diversity of modes of transportation. This part of the city is transit friendly as a consequence of over 50 nearby bus lines. This area will also appeal to physically active house buyers because it is convenient for walking; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and various businesses are quite close by. A fair number of people in the area use their bicycle because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

A grocery store is typically reachable within a short walk from most houses for sale in Cité Universitaire. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in this neighbourhood. With respect to education, parents and their children will appreciate the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from most houses for sale in this area. At the primary level, there are both public and private schools.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Cité Universitaire. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are quite low, as the streets tend to be tranquil - although that is not the case around Autoroute Charest, Autoroute Henri-IV or the railway line. Finally, there are about 10 public green spaces close by for residents to enjoy, such as Jardin Botanique Roger-Van Den Hende, and they are especially well-spread out, which results in them being easy to reach from a lot of locations in Cité Universitaire.
