Part of the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area, Vallée-de-la-Lièvre is an urban village within Gatineau, Quebec.

Transportation

The car is very often the best method to move around in this area. Accessing a place to park is generally easy, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Outaouais, from any home in this part of Gatineau. On the other hand, the public transit system in Vallée-de-la-Lièvre is rather limited. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. This part of the city is not very bike-friendly since the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and the topography is not especially flat. Walking is also not very practical for property owners in this area as carrying out daily needs is difficult.

Services

In Vallée-de-la-Lièvre, families will commonly be able to access daycares and primary schools on foot.
