Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in Bassin-de-la-Lièvre. Most homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Outaouais, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, Bassin-de-la-Lièvre is not an especially pleasant part of Gatineau for moving around by public transit. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and it is straightforward to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Bassin-de-la-Lièvre is not very cycling-friendly since there are a fair number of slopes, and there are few bike lanes. This area is also not very conducive to walking as very few common errands can be run on foot.
