The neighbourhood of Avondale is part of the city of Grande Prairie, Alberta, which is located in the Grande Prairie metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is reasonably well-suited for those who like to get around as pedestrians; many day-to-day needs are convenient to meet without a car, and there are also a fair number of businesses nearby. Active property owners will also welcome the rather cycling-friendly nature of Avondale. More specifically, the cycling network is reasonably good, and there are a limited number of elevation changes. Avondale is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. On the other hand, cars are an excellent transportation option in Avondale. Many houses for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to park.

Services

Accessing the nearest supermarket without a vehicle is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this area.
